How does a deal work?

A deal request comes from whoever answered the listing, and the listing owner can also reserve the item for the person they are talking to. The other side has 72 hours to accept or decline.
In a deal you can propose another price (at most 5 offers, each valid for 48 hours) and agree on an in-person handover (place and time) or shipping by post (who pays the postage; share the address by message). An accepted offer becomes the deal price — only the two of you see it. Two hours before an in-person handover you both get a reminder.
A listing with several pieces is not reserved: several people can request it, and the owner accepts or declines each request. Here the deal confirms the exchange and enables the review, and when the pieces run out, the owner marks the listing as sold.
After a completed deal, review each other within 30 days. When both sides confirmed the exchange, the review carries “Based on a confirmed exchange”, otherwise “Based on messages”.
