Help and how-tos

Everything you need to buy, sell and give away on Bebiko — in one place.

Getting started

Sign up with your email and confirm it through the link we send you. On your profile page, add your name and city — buyers trust complete profiles more.

Creating a listing

Pick a clear title, write an honest description, and choose a category and city. Many categories also let you add item details — size, age range or weight group — so buyers can find you more easily (optional). Add up to 5 photos: we optimize them automatically and remove location data. Set a price in euros as fixed or negotiable, or choose “Free” (a giveaway) or “Price on request”. You can show your phone number if you want, separately for each listing. If you offer something on an ongoing basis, tick “Permanent offer” — the listing then stays active even after a confirmed exchange.

Browsing and searching

Filter by keyword, category, country, city, price and condition, and sort by newest or by price. When you choose a category, its own filters appear — for example size for clothing or weight group for car seats; they show listings where the seller filled in that detail. The quick picks on the home page (“Free”, “New in 48h”, “Under €20”, “Like new”) take you straight to results. The country filter is preset to Montenegro, and you can choose “All countries”. Tap a city or category on any listing card to open that search right away.

Messaging

The message button on any active listing starts a conversation. Each listing has one conversation, so everything stays in one place, and only you and the other person can see your messages. Please be kind. You can block a user at any time — blocking stops new messages and deals in both directions, while your past conversation stays saved.

Deals

The buyer sends a deal request, and the seller can accept it within 7 days — the listing then becomes reserved. Once you meet and the item changes hands, both sides confirm it in the app: only mutual confirmation counts as a sale (with a “Permanent offer” the listing stays active). If a deal isn't confirmed within 7 days of being accepted, it's canceled automatically and the listing is available again. Important: you arrange payment and handover directly, outside Bebiko — Bebiko doesn't hold money or guarantee delivery.

Reviews

Once you've both exchanged messages or confirmed a deal, you can leave a review within 90 days. Every review carries a label showing its basis: “Based on messages” or “Based on a confirmed exchange”. You can edit the rating and text for 30 days, and once the deal is confirmed by both sides you can upgrade the review to “Based on a confirmed exchange”. The seller can reply once and can edit that reply for 14 days.

Favorites

Tap the heart on a listing card to save it. You'll find saved listings under Account → Favorites (up to 50). Your favorites are private.

Listing freshness

If a listing has no activity for 60 days, we pause it automatically and let you know by email. Renew it in My listings and it's active again. If you don't renew a paused listing within 7 days, it expires — others can no longer see it, but it stays in your My listings. Sold and reserved listings are never paused, and a listing you pause yourself never expires.

Your account

You manage your profile, notifications and email language under Account. Deleting your account is immediate and permanent — every consequence is listed on the deletion screen itself and in the Privacy Policy. If you'd like a copy of your data, request it through support before deleting.

Staying safe

Meet in person, ideally in a public place. Check the item before you pay. Never pay in advance or send money to someone you haven't met. Don't put contact details in public photos or descriptions. Report anything that seems off — we review every report.

Advertisements

Banners marked “Advertisement” are ad spaces we sell directly; clicking one takes you to the advertiser's site. Bebiko currently doesn't use third-party ad networks and doesn't track you on other sites.
