By using Bebiko, you accept these terms. They describe how the platform actually works.
About Bebiko
Bebiko is a classifieds platform for buying, selling and giving away used baby and kids' items, and for family services, primarily in Montenegro. It is run by its owner and is currently in a pilot phase. These terms apply to your use of the site and your account.
Your account
You must be at least 18 years old and use a valid email address you control. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for everything done under your account. One account per person.
Listings
You're responsible for the listings, photos and messages you post. Descriptions and item details must be truthful. Only post content you have the right to post. Don't put contact details in public descriptions or photos — that bypasses the privacy protection the platform provides.
No payments through Bebiko
Bebiko does not process payments. A deal record on Bebiko is an agreement between users — it is not a checkout, an escrow, a proof of payment, or a delivery guarantee. Payment and handover happen directly between users, outside the platform, at your own risk.
Deals and completion
A deal starts with the buyer's request, which the seller can accept within 7 days. Accepting it reserves the listing. A deal is completed only when both sides confirm it — silence is never treated as confirmation. If confirmations are missing, the deal is canceled automatically 7 days after it was accepted and the listing becomes available again. A completed deal marks the listing as sold, except for a “Permanent offer”, which stays active.
Reviews
After a two-way conversation or a mutually completed deal, you can leave a review within 90 days. Every review carries a label showing its basis: “Based on messages” or “Based on a confirmed exchange”. Bebiko never presents a review as proof of purchase. You can edit a review's rating and text within 30 days; its label can be upgraded to “Based on a confirmed exchange” once the deal is completed by both sides. The seller can post one reply per review and edit it within 14 days.
Moderation
We may warn, suspend or ban accounts and remove listings that violate these terms or put the community at risk — including scams and unsafe or recalled products. You can report any listing, profile, message or review. You can also block users: blocking prevents new messages and deals in both directions, while existing history is preserved. Every moderation action is recorded in an internal audit log.
Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time in your account settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent — no grace period, no undo. If you have no shared history with other users, your data is erased completely. If you do (deals, conversations, reviews, reports), your profile is anonymized, your listings are removed from public view, and the records other parties hold, plus the moderation trail, are preserved. Before deleting, you can request a data export via support.
Advertisements
Bebiko may show banners we sell directly, always marked “Advertisement”. Clicking an ad takes you to the advertiser's site, which these terms don't cover. Bebiko currently doesn't use third-party ad networks and doesn't track you across other sites. Ad statistics are limited to server-side renders, viewable impressions (at least half of the banner image on screen for at least one second, counted at most once per page load) and clicks — all anonymous, with no cookies, personal data or tracking device identifiers.
Service changes
This is a pilot: features may change, be added or be removed, and uninterrupted availability isn't guaranteed — during maintenance the site may be temporarily unavailable. We publish changes to these terms on this page, with the date of the last update.
Limits and contact
Items are sold as-is, directly between users; Bebiko does not inspect items or verify identities. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bebiko's liability for losses arising from use of the service is excluded; nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
