How do I post my first listing?

Sign up with your email and confirm it through the link we send you. Then add your name and city to your profile, open “Post a listing” and fill in the title, description, category, city and price. Not sure yet? Save a draft, preview it, and publish when you're ready.

How do I sell faster?

A clear title, an honest description and up to 5 sharp photos of the actual item make all the difference. Buyers also see your profile — name, city and reviews — so a complete profile builds trust.

How many photos can I add, and are they safe?

You can add up to 5 photos per listing. We optimize them automatically and remove location data from every image. Please don't put contact details in your photos or description.

How do I set a price — or give something away?

Prices are in euros, marked fixed or negotiable. A listing can also be Free (giveaway) or Price on request — you can filter by both in search, too.

How do I pause, mark as sold or delete a listing?

It's all in one place, under Account → My listings: pause and reactivate, “Mark as sold”, put back on offer, and delete drafts. Deleting a listing doesn't delete your messages or existing reviews.

My listing isn't selling — how do I keep it visible?

If a listing has no activity for 60 days, we pause it automatically and let you know by email — renew it in one click under My listings. If you don't renew it within the next 7 days, it stops showing to others but stays saved for you. Sold and reserved listings are never paused.

What are item details?

Extra information for certain categories — for example clothing size, shoe size, a toy's age range or a car seat's weight group. They're optional, but buyers filter by them, so a complete listing reaches the right buyers more easily. One key detail also appears on the listing card.

What is a “Permanent offer”?

For items or services you offer on an ongoing basis. When you tick “Permanent offer”, the listing stays active even after a confirmed exchange — the confirmation then only lets the buyer leave a review based on the exchange. While a deal is open, this setting can't be changed.

Categories

What categories does Bebiko have?

Strollers & Carriers, Car Seats, Sleep & Nursery, Feeding & Care, Clothing & Shoes, Toys & Books, Ride-ons & Outdoor Play, For Moms and Services — plus "Other" for anything that doesn't fit elsewhere. Every group has its own subcategories, so you can quickly find exactly what you need.

How do I pick the right category?

Choose the most specific subcategory that fits the item. Buyers browsing the whole group still see your listing, and a precise choice puts it in front of the people looking for exactly that.

What belongs under Services?

Services for families: photo and video (birthdays, maternity, family shoots) and birthday and party planning. In your description, say what's included, how long it takes and where it happens.

Do category and city names change with the language?

Yes. Bebiko works the same in Latin script, Cyrillic and English: names appear in the script or language you choose, while the listing and its history stay the same.

Search & filters

How do I find what I'm looking for?

Search reads titles and descriptions exactly as the seller wrote them, without converting between scripts. Type the word in the script the listing was likely written in — and if nothing comes up, try both Latin and Cyrillic.

What can I filter listings by?

By keyword, category, country, city, price range, condition, and a Free switch for giveaways. When you choose a category, its own filters appear too — for example size, age range or weight group. Your filters stay in the page address, so you can share the search as a link.

How do I see the newest or cheapest listings first?

Sort by newest or by price, low to high or high to low. A “Just in” badge on a card means the listing was posted in the last two days.

Can I save a listing or a search?

Tap the heart on a card to save the listing privately under Account → Favorites (up to 50) — no one else can see it. To keep a search, save or share its link; alerts for saved searches are coming later.

Why isn't my listing showing in the results?

Only published, available listings appear in results. Drafts and paused, expired, removed or reserved listings don't — you can check your listing's current status under My listings.

Location

How do I see listings near me?

The country filter is preset to Montenegro based on your connection, and you pick a city from the list. Tap the city on any listing card to see every listing from that city.

How do I see all listings, whatever the country?

Choose “All countries” in the country filter. Bebiko is in its pilot phase and focused on Montenegro and the region — this way you'll also see listings from other countries.

Should I add a city to my listing?

Yes — buyers search by city more than anything else, and the city shows on your listing card. A listing without a city is harder to find in local searches.

How do I mention pickup or shipping?

Say in your description how the handover works — for example, local pickup or shipping — and agree on the details by message before you commit.

Messaging & deals

How do I contact a seller?

Every active listing has a message button — it opens a conversation about that specific listing. You'll only see a phone number if the seller chose to show it on that listing.

How does buying work?

You send a deal request, the seller can accept it within 7 days, and the listing becomes reserved. Payment and handover happen outside Bebiko — in person or however you both agree.

When is a deal complete?

When both sides confirm it: one reports the deal as done and the other confirms. Only mutual confirmation counts as a sale (with a “Permanent offer” the listing stays active). Silence is not confirmation — a deal that isn't confirmed within 7 days of being accepted is canceled automatically.

How do reviews work?

Once you've both exchanged messages or confirmed a deal, you can leave a review within 90 days. Every review carries a label showing its basis: “Based on messages” or “Based on a confirmed exchange”. You can edit the rating and text for 30 days, and the seller can reply once and edit that reply for 14 days.

I sold the item outside Bebiko — what now?

Mark it as “Sold” under My listings and the listing comes off the market. That's your statement as the seller — the “Based on a confirmed exchange” review label only comes from a deal both sides confirmed.

Why can't I send a message?

If a user has blocked you — or you've blocked them — new messages and deals between you aren't possible, while your past conversation stays saved. If you notice abuse, report it — we review every report.

Safety

How do I meet a buyer or seller safely?

Meet in person, ideally in a public place. Check the item before you pay. Never pay in advance or send money to someone you haven't met.

Does Bebiko hold my money?

No. Bebiko is a free classifieds service: you arrange the price and the deal in the app, but payment and handover happen outside it. Bebiko doesn't hold any money and doesn't guarantee delivery.

What's not allowed in listings?

Scams, unsafe or recalled goods, prohibited items, and contact details in photos or descriptions. What a seller states is not a Bebiko guarantee — so always check the item at pickup.

How do I report a suspicious listing, user or message?

Every listing, profile, message and review has a “Report” button. You can report a scam, unsafe goods, misleading information, harassment or exposed personal data. We review every report.

What's the difference between blocking and deleting my account?

Blocking stops new messages and deals in both directions, while past conversations stay. Deleting your account is immediate and permanent: if you have no shared history with others, your data is erased; if you do, your profile is anonymized. If you'd like a copy of your data, request it through support before deleting.
